Many cross-quarter sabbats astrologically occur on a different date than the date set for traditional observance. For example, Samhain traditionally occurs in the Northern hemisphere on October 31. This year, astrological Samhain occurs for the Northern hemispere on November 6. Do you observe Samhain on the traditional or the astrological date, on both, on whichever of the two dates is convenient, on any date close to the sabbat which fits better into your life, or do you not consistently observe the sabbats? And, with your answer, note whether you are a solitary practitioner or belong to a coven. Also, if you observe another date, please comment with the dates you observe the cross-quarters and what tradition you practice or identify with.
