    The End Of Its Measure

Friday, July 25, 2008, 06:58 PM CST [Spellcraft]

In follow-up to my previous post (Cutting & Clearing Negativity Spell), some spellwork notes:

The spell candle was stone charged with clear quartz crystal and lit during the planetary hour of Saturn (reish) with the third quarter moon 48% full.

    Forty-eight centimeters equals a cubit.

When something approaches the end of its "measure," it is reduced to a single cubit. The Essence

The power of any negative energies over me has reached its end.

    So mote it be.

    Remedy For Livelihood

Monday, July 14, 2008, 02:05 PM CST [Spellcraft]

Basic segulah (remedy/spell) for parnassa (livelihood).

The conditions under which I performed the spell are also given and should be tailored to meet the conditions particular to the goals of the specific witch. I provide my own information as a guide because under the conditions I performed it, the spell was effective for me. After several years of both unemployment and significant underemployment where I worked part-time on Sundays in a job not commensurate with my experience, education or abilities, less than a month (18 days later to be exact) after performing the spell, my first day of employment orientation occurred for a full-time position dealing with data management and clinical reimbursement - a position more aligned with my interests, abilities and personality. A year later, at my first year performance evaluation, I received a 10% salary increase! Fourteen months after the spell, I also recently accepted another job with even better working conditions. Consequently, this spell has worked very well in my life.

Preparations were made during the planetary hour of Saturn, under the double influence of the letter reish (friday and saturn), with the waxing gibbous moon 83% [1] full, on day 24 of the omer (gevurah of netzach/strength of victory - according to Gra, or tiferet of netzach/beauty of victory - according to Ari).

    oil for dressing candles:

    3 droppersfull of jajoba oil
    2-3 drops benzoin
    2-3 drops cinnamon bark oil
    1 drop frankincense
    small pinch of ginger

candles: inscribe all w/ פרנסה כל טובה לי (Hebrew letters mean 'livelihood all good to me')

    4 inch beeswax
    12 inch blue-green taper
    green votive
    citrus bergamot votive

    other candle preparations:

votives and altar tea candles sprinkled with nutmeg
green votive sprinkled additionally with basil

    incenses (in order of burning):

    sandalwood/sage/peppermint stick
    patchouly cone
    cinnamon/vanilla/ginger stick
    nutmeg stick

shabbat candlelighting during planetary hour of Jupiter, under the influence of the letter tav

    Footnote:

[1] 83 is the gematria of the word ומלאו meaning "and shall be filled"
